Sprezza’s fall vintage drop — next week

For all the newcomers, I started selling vintage American sportswear (think OG Gap, J.Crew, Banana, Ralph, etc) for fun this year, but I haven’t sold new stuff since February (aka when my son was born!).

The next drop is going live on Tuesday, and this time I’m partnering with the homie Johnny Hugel from Sharp Man Vintage from Richmond, VA. Johnny is an old friend and is one of the best-grailed hunters I know.

F.E. Castlberry’s Autumn collections are a vibe

Fred Castleberry kills it. Every time. I’ve never seen a one-man team making shit this good that takes otherwise would take entire brand teams to do. Go to respect the hustle and creativity behind his collections.

And I guess the pieces are OK too.

I curate these guides, and I put a ton of work into them, so you better like them, damnit!

GOAT is buying Grailed

First off, this is massive. Secondhand clothing marketing has grown leaps over the last decade, and Grailed has played a key role in that, especially within streetwear.

And the fact that GOAT—a sneaker marketplace going toe-to-toe with StockX—is buying them is further evidence that consolidation is the next wave of secondhand, which is about to hit $30 BILLION next year. There’s a ton of opportunity for everyone.

It’s hard to know the brass tax of the deal, what kind of financial shape GOAT is in, and how they pulled it off, but either way; this is a fantastic win for GOAT to acquire the most prominent resell marketplace in the US.

Why I like Palace

I have no idea what the fuck is going on in this campaign video, but I love this partnership between Palace and Gucci!

Specifically, I keep liking everything Palace does because they are one of the few, notable streetwear brands with the ability to float across genres seamlessly without taking themselves too seriously (Supreme and Corteiz would never).

They strike the right balance between humor and cool, and I like that.
