The Earth Day hiking boot
These are some of the best boots I’ve seen in a while. Season Three is a new brand that popped up last summer. They make premium outdoor boots of European sensibility, and they happen to look very fly! This week, they collab’d with bag brand, BABOON TO THE MOON, and made one hell of a hiking boot.
Good news: A portion of all boot sales will go to the National Park Foundation.
Bad news: They sold out already!
They DO have other styles similar to this one, so check em’ out here.
Price: $345
NEW STYLE(ISH) BOOKS TO READ 📖
Best Made Co. // The Axe Handbook
Y’all remember them? Well, their old founder (Peter Buchanan-Smith) has a new book coming out: The Axe Handbook.
Personally, this is an interesting one, as it’s Peter’s first new project since quietly selling off the business to Duluth Trading Company last year at the beginning of the pandemic. Long live Best Made!
The Optimist
Another year, another dandy David Coggins book. In typical Coggins fashion, he writes about fly fishing this time. I have never fly-fished a day in my damn life, and I will absolutely be purchasing this book.
F*ck it, I’ll Start Tomorrow
Queens-born rapper, style god, and chef-in-residence, Action Bronson, released his book. Action is well-known for his TV show, Fuck, That’s Delicious, but this book is a first of its kind. It’s his personal story, opening up about his struggle with weight loss, food addiction, and learning to accept himself.
I appreciate this raw, personal look at his life. Reminds us we’re all human.
Some things I dig right now
This fantastic photoshoot by James Harvey Kelly for Ralph Lauren (Spring 2021).
The Le Must de Cartier Tank. Too much heat to handle!
Outsiders making me want to embrace Sandal SZN. Got options.
This weekender from Bennett Winch.
The story behind this dope townhouse in Amsterdam.
A history on the iconic chore coat, from Tupac to Bill Cunningham.
More on canned cocktails
I’ve been sipping Tip Top for a while now and ready to see new brands pop up. I really can’t get enough of these. But liquor laws make it tough to try new products if the distribution isn’t good regionally (you can’t ship liquor across state lines).
But I found another dope brand this week that I really dig: Golden Rule.
They make an Old Fashioned and a margarita, and I really want to try both. Just look at that branding! C’mon?!
This Apple watch…
Okay, my buddy Rob got his hands on a FINE-looking Apple timepiece and I had to share it.
