It’s been one hell of a year for Sprezza. This was my first full year growing the newsletter, and while it’s still a side project, I made some great strides.

Here are some 2021 highlights:

💰 Sprezza sponsorships

I opened up sponsorships in May. A massive, massive thank you to Buck Mason, Olivers, KYX, Fulton & Roark, Masterworks, and Marc Nolan for being platinum sponsors. This helps keep Sprezza moving and I look forward to working with more brands in the future!

Community is one of my favorite parts about Sprezza. We’ve got people from all over the world. It’s a chat group with sneakerheads, gorpies, vintage heads, dandies, and others who mix all those genres together

We share hot takes, travel tips, post daily fit pics, and way more. Here are some of the best fits from this year!

👥 Paid subscriptions

I launched paid subscriptions as a way for readers to support what I’m doing. Can’t tell you how grateful I am for those of you who have become monthly and annual members!

💯 Wrote over 100 articles!

This year we covered topics like Gorpcore, Wes Anderson, where to drink in NYC, surfing, the streetwear-ification of golf attire, why small watches are sexier, created seasonal style guides for y’all, and more.

Where we headed?

Here are my 2022 goals…

• CONTENT — double-down on content (more interviews, guides, explore new mediums like audio or magazines/coffee table book 👀, etc)

• DISCOVERY — launch a visual database of brands and products—it’ll be a place to discover!

• COLLABS — expect curated Sprezza merch, co-designed products with other brands, and perhaps limited-run goods under a different brand name.

• EVENTS — fingers crossed the world’s in a better place next year because I’d love to begin hosting events, parties, and dinners in different cities.
