A conversation about growing up in Portugal, what makes a great collab, how to regain creative inspiration, turning an old warehouse into his home, living around the world, and more.
I'm sure this guy, Rafa, is a really nice guy and overall a creative person. But these photos make him seem the opposite of creative. They make him seem like an absolute cliché. The Chemix, the signet ring, the ubiquitous fig plant and the cactus couple, etc. My favourite are the Sofia Coppola Archive book on the kitchen table and the spotless vintage Land Rover at the beach. Really people - what's creative about that?
Uh oh, here comes the Cool Boi Police. That's kind of judgmental considering you know nothing about him. Let people live and like what they like; is that so hard?
really enjoyed this one!

this makes me want to run. thank you.
rafa is the man!
