Digging a little deeper…
OFF-WHITE makes a mountain boot.
Sneaker or boot? Or SNOOT. Let’s go with that.
Virgil’s latest shoe release feels an awful lot like he took just Danner Goods mountain boot, made it a low top, and slapped a dino-stomper sole on the bottom. They also come pre-painted. I’m a little bummed he didn’t just collab with Danner. Seems like it would bode well for both sides. C’est la vie.
Down-and-out Brooks Brothers gets a new Creative Director.
It’s been a tough year for BB. After they were acquired by Simon Property Group this summer, the tailored brand is looking to rebuild, once again. This time with well-known American designer, Michael Bastian. His resume includes working at Ralph and GANT, to even collab’ing with Uniqlo years back on a special Fall collection. Interested to see how (or if) he can turn things around.
Cash App’s first apparel line.
The merch ain’t good. Not every brand needs to drop merch. That is all.
