It’s funny how much I love this peanut butter colorway, considering I’m allergic to the real thing. Overshirt season is right around the corner, and I can already picture how this heavyweight cotton canvas will fade with years of wear. Thankfully, admiring the color won’t send me to the ER.

Becoming a dad has greatly increased my dependency on pockets, both in quantity and how much they can actually hold. This Dust Jacket from Slow Learner has massive pockets that be expanded to hold books (and snacks, wallets, keys, headphones, miscellaneous parental goods) and look good doing it.

My biggest regret was never buying those blue Broken Arm x Salomon X-Alps a few years back, and then repeating that mistake with the follow-up red pair. I might never get a chance at those again, but this forest green/grey/maroon colorway might be enough to mend that wound.

Hanging around the Sprezza guys has made me wander into…gorp-adjacent territory. The g-shorts are my usual purchase, but I think the gadget shorts will be my next purchase for that end-of-summer/early-fall chill where you can get away with shorts and a hoodie. Plus, pockets!

My wife and I will often go out wearing the same fragrance, just as a power move really. When a guy comes to greet me, and then my partner and says “…are you both wearing the same perfume?” it’s nice to remind them that there are other offerings besides what’s available at the men’s cologne section at Nordstrom. This one is versatile enough for anyone to pull off.
