I'd second the highlight of Paynter. I'm a big chore coat guy so I was an early follower of the brand. Everyone makes a chore coat now, but Paynter's attention to detail in the fabrics, construction, details, and utility is next level. I also have the Raglan and it is a great coat that can be dressed up or down and is a properly good winter coat.

Loved getting to throw some thoughts in! Hyped to see what 2026 brings.

Unfortunately my conservative take for 2026 personal style will be to shop my own closet and buy less! Loved this 2025 wrap up! I think menswear influencers not being in touch has been an epidemic for a long time hah.

SELL MORE! Been shocked at how many things I bought a few years ago I don’t wear at all today. That money is the shopping budget.

And yeahhhhhh with the mensfluencers.

Good takes. Random reactions:

Collabs and Barbour x Levis was so successful I can’t imagine we don’t see it again.

Every time I get away from function over form I quickly get reminded I have more of a function lifestyle.

The price range and out of touch influencer is a thing, but I sympathize with the grind of always finding new or not resurfacing the same mall brand over and over again. Hard balance, and admit I like seeing a little more of what I would think less about pulling the trigger on, but maybe that’s a good thing.

I keep meaning to get over to 3sixteen. Been putting that off way too long.

Def got an interesting point with the influencer thing. I’m always pleasantly surprised when I’m introduced to a new brand for the first time that I hadn’t previously heard of, but I’m sure it’s a ton of work to do that full time. For me it was more that if you’re constantly posting about, idk The Row, how much of your audience can afford that? Has to be a tiny %. There are so many other brands that are incredible and affordable, wish more people would highlight those. Maybe that’s what our job is!
