Got my first pair of 574s... 17 years ago? It's been a few years since I've owned a pair but maybe this is the year to bring 'em back! Always classic grey.
I started wearing the 574s in white as my everyday sneaker about a year and a half ago. Love not only how comfortable they are but how I can wear them with literally anything.
I have a lot of respect for New Balance with this shoe. As the sneaker bubble of the 2010’s reached its breaking point, lots of companies grasped at straws to keep sales coming before retiring their silhouettes. NB took advantage of the moment but never changed the 574 fundamentally. Pursuing a long term legacy is not a common move in sneakers these days.
I got a pair of blue 574s on my birthday during my freshman year of high school! I remember feeling like the coolest kid at school wearing those before they got really popular.
I'm at my parents house for the week and I totally forgot about these shoes. I'll find them again and bring them back with me to New York :)
Recently found the blue bodega 574 at a Salvation Army for 10 bucks. Truly amazing shoe
no way! that's a major cop
Originally designed as trail runners, no?
Nice to see the 574 get some well-deserved love. My toddler son is on this second pair already.
well worth the love. i'm wearing a pair as we speak
