WDM is probably one of the few people that can point to japan inventing "collaborations". fashion brands collaborating with non fashion brands were already a thing by the 1980's in Japan.

I wonder how ‘Status Anxiety’ might play a role here though (De Botton wrote an entire book about this). If someone succeeds to be more at ‘peace’ status-wise, how would it affect his/her ability to create/enhance/nurture/boost culture?
