It lacked the authenticity that they have in NY and the basketball link. Can't just turn up somewhere else and try the same. Brands have always had a weird relationship with terrace culture due to the violent past. Brands like Burberry rejecting it due to the worry about it hurting their brand. I think Stone Island has done a decent job of maintaining a balance. But not through any collabs.
